Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic is based on the important relationship between the spine and the nervous system. One of the most basic ideas in chiropractic is that dysfunction in the spine and its joints can lead to dysfunction within the nervous system—and since the nervous system controls and coordinates all of the systems of the body, spinal dysfunction can have wide ranging effects on the body’s health. Chiropractors are trained to evaluate and adjust this spinal dysfunction.

Chiropractic care is a natural alternative to help a wide variety of issues, such as low back pain, headaches, neck pain, postural syndromes, scoliosis, and many others. Beyond that, Chiropractic helps your nervous system to function optimally and improve your quality of life! IHH Family Chiropractic offers manual adjusting as well as a low force adjustment using the Activator instrument.

Children’s Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractors have been caring for children for more than a 100 years. Many common childhood ailments will respond to this safe, natural form of health care. More and more parents— especially those who are already chiropractic patients themselves—are seeking chiropractic care for their children.

Chiropractic care is ‘tailored’ to the individual and their particular spine, and children are no exception. We offer specific, gentle adjustments appropriate to the infant and child’s spine and cranium.

Webster Technique

A chiropractic adjustment called the Webster technique is a specific sacral adjustment to help facilitate the expecting mother's pelvic alignment and nerve system function. This in turn balances pelvic muscles and ligaments and helps reduce torsion to the uterus.

Spinal traction is a form of decompression therapy that relieves pressure on the spine. It can be performed manually or mechanically. Spinal traction is used to help herniated discs, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, pinched nerves, and many other back conditions.
